The best time for the Do Dham Helicopter Tour is in summer (May to June) and autumn (September to October). Here's a season-wise breakdown:
If you are planning your trip the months of September and October, you can expect pleasant and cool weather. However, at night, the temperature can drop below 10°C and therefore warm clothes like woollen sweaters and jackets are recommended. In case of rain, we provide disposable raincoats to our registered passengers.
If you visit in the summer months of May and June, you'll be greeted with sunny weather while temperatures swing in the range of 20-30°C. It's recommended to bring comfortable, leisurely summer clothes.
As hilly areas experience sudden changes in temperatures, it is likely that flights can get cancelled pertaining to bad weather. Passengers should be ready to adjust their schedules accordingly.
Helicopter Service for Do Dham brings together modern convenience and spiritual fulfilment. With our tour plan, you get top hotels, delicious meals, and dedicated transport. You also avail of our VIP Darshan arrangements and sightseeing. All in all, this helicopter tour is a seamless way to visit the abode of the divines while taking the scenic route, literally!

Dehradun is the perfect starting point to commence your sacred Yatra. When you arrive at the Dehradun airport or railway station, our tour representative will be present to welcome you and assist in your transfer to the hotel. Once check-in is done, one can relax and also get ready for the trip. In the evening there is a briefing session with our representative where general information related to the Yatra is discussed. However, it is recommended to take a night’s accommodation in your Dehradun hotel, though you can also go around the town during the evening.
Start your day early with a fresh mindset, complete the checkout process, and transfer to Sahastradhara Helipad for your helicopter ride to Guptkashi around 7 am. The duration of the flight takes about 45 minutes.
Kedarnath can be reached from Guptkashi by a government-operated helicopter and the nearest point to Kedarnath is the Kedarnath Helipad which is at a distance of 500 meters only from the temple. On arrival, go for the VIP Darshan at Kedarnath Temple. Afterward, return to the helipad for your next flight to Badrinath around 11.
On reaching Badrinath, you will be checked in to a hotel. Car service can be pre-arranged to pick up directly from your hotel / home to get a V.I.P darshan of Badri Vishal. In the afternoon around 4 pm, you are free to go out and visit other places of interest including the Mana Village, the Bheem Pul, and the Vyas Gufa. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay at Badrinath.
On the last day, you should start with the Maha Abhishek Puja which is performed early in the morning at Badrinath Temple. Engage in the puja ceremony and let yourself lose in spirituality by listening to Vedic recitations and classical music. In the evening after offering blessings and having the Bhog, drive back to your hotel for a grand breakfast. When you are done, proceed to the helipad for your return journey to Sahastradhara. From there you need to proceed back till your home, which signifies the end of your holy tour.
